Job Summary:

Seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse with psychiatric experience to provide specialized behavioral health care. The role involves delivering patient-centered nursing services in a mental health setting to promote recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ mental health needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patients’ responses according to prescribed treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and coping strategies.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State RN License with primary source verification from NYSED.
• Possess at least two years of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience.
• Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and compassionate care skills.
• Degree from an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, ADN).
• Valid licensure and certifications must be up-to-date and verifiable.
