Job Summary:
Provide specialized psychiatric nursing care to patients, ensuring their mental health needs are met with compassion and professionalism. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer psychiatric medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status.
• Document patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure a safe environment for all patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State RN license.
• Obtain primary source verification of license and registration through NYS Department of Education.
• Possess at least two years of behavioral health experience.
• Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
• Complete an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited program.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills.
