Job Summary:
Perform specialized laboratory testing within the Hematology department, specifically focusing on Blood Bank, coagulation, and urinalysis. This role involves working in a fast-paced clinical environment with a consistent schedule and specific testing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct blood bank and coagulation testing utilizing Epic Beaker, Werfen Tops 500 and 750, and Iris systems.
• Analyze urinalysis samples accurately and efficiently using Iris and Abbott chemistry instruments.
• Adhere to safety, compliance, and laboratory policies during all testing procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality control and timely reporting of results.
• Maintain proficiency with LIS systems and laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in a comprehensive orientation and ongoing training to uphold department standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist.
• Possess experience with Epic Beaker, Werfen Tops (500/750), Iris, and Abbott chemistry analyzers.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis testing procedures.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory work.
• Be able to commit to a 6-month contract with flexible but consistent scheduling.
• Hold a valid license/certification to perform clinical laboratory testing as required.
