Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced RN for a Level I Trauma Center ER, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working a 48-hour week with a focus on trauma and acute care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions to deliver prompt and effective emergency care.
• Perform comprehensive nursing interventions, including medication administration and wound management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards specific to trauma and emergency settings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency nursing practices and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience, with preferred trauma center background.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Complete at least one prior travel assignment with proven reliability.
• Be willing to work day shifts primarily, with availability for on-call and weekend rotation.
• Driver’s license must be provided upon submission.
