Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and advanced critical care. The role involves direct patient care, coordination with healthcare teams, and overseeing patient education and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions through comprehensive clinical evaluations and monitoring.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Communicate patient status, diagnostic results, and changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and recovery processes.
• Supervise and collaborate with other nursing staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately to acute clinical changes.
