Job Summary:

Provide respiratory care services to patients requiring emergency, intensive, and therapeutic interventions. Perform diagnostic tests, invasive and non-invasive monitoring, and patient education related to pulmonary and cardiopulmonary conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Monitor and operate ventilators, ensuring optimal patient ventilation.
• Conduct EKGs and other diagnostic tests as ordered.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust therapeutic plans accordingly.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ventilator management.
• Be comfortable performing EKGs.
• Hold state licensure in Michigan.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Hold NBRC credential as a Respiratory Therapist or CRT.
