Job Summary:
Provide specialized inpatient critical care as a registered nurse in the Neuro ICU, delivering attentive, high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological conditions. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during a 13-week travel assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ neurological status and monitor vital signs continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Coordinate and document patient care plans, updates, and progress.
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions, escalating concerns appropriately.
• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and meet state licensure requirements.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience, preferably in neuro settings.
• Demonstrate ability to perform thorough neurological assessments.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Currently hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
