Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Technologist in the Cath Lab/EP specialty will support physicians in performing invasive cardiac, peripheral diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures, including pacemaker placements and circulatory support device management. This role ensures the accurate operation of specialized equipment and patient safety during complex interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize procedural equipment and sterile trays for accurate and efficient case setup.
• Assist with patient positioning, monitoring setup, and vascular access to ensure optimal procedural conditions.
• Calibrate and test pressure transducers, hemodynamic monitoring devices, and digital cine technologies for precise data collection.
• Support physicians during diagnostic, interventional, and device placement procedures, including the operation of power injectors.
• Manage equipment calibration, maintenance, inventory control, and adherence to clinical information systems.
• Recognize, interpret, and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and assist with patient hemostasis at access sites.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure environment.
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist, radiologic technologist, or applied science program.
• Certification in BLS and HCP Life Support; ACLS certification required within 3 months.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and sterile techniques.
• Valid radiologic technologist license or equivalent; RCIS or ARRT certification preferred.
