Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring, ensuring accurate assessment and response to cardiac events. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and coordinated care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition through data collection and monitoring of cardiac rhythms.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to adjust treatment strategies.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and telemetry procedures.
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately to nursing staff and coordinate shift activities.
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately in the medical record.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Medicare-approved Telemetry certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and patient management skills.
