Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with experience managing vented patients and heliox therapy. The candidate will support neonatal critical care with advanced ventilation and airway management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and independently manage ventilated neonatal and pediatric patients using Servo-U and Dräger VN500 ventilators.
• Set up and oversee heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Administer non-invasive ventilation techniques, including biPAP and CPAP.
• Utilize neonatal skills such as Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide delivery, and high-frequency ventilation.
• Document patient data accurately within the Epic system.
• Collaborate with unit staff to ensure safe, effective patient care and adhere to policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RRT certification and state license.
• Possess at least 1 year of neonatal or pediatric ICU critical care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Servo-U ventilators, heliox therapy, and neonatal ventilation procedures.
• Be PALS certified.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 7 PM – 7 AM shifts in a hospital setting.
