Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in a mixed-acuity environment, including critical care, stepdown, and cardiac telemetry units. The role involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care while managing complex clinical situations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced cardiac monitoring, interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias.
• Deliver continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation monitoring according to protocols.
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans in a fast-paced ICU setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all required certifications and safety standards, including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately within the EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure with state-approved credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience in a critical care environment.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing dysrhythmias.
• Experience with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Strong critical thinking, flexibility, and ability to adapt in high-pressure situations.
