Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing in the Burn Trauma ICU, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage complex medical conditions and support patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and develop individualized care plans based on clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions tailored to burn and trauma ICU patients.
• Monitor vital signs and utilize critical care equipment to ensure patient stability.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system and communicate effectively with team members.
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as codes or rapid deterioration, providing life-saving interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on care procedures and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state licensure required.
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience, specifically in trauma, burn, or surgical ICU settings.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• CCSN certification preferred; BSN degree highly regarded.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift, including weekends and on-call as needed.
