Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring optimal respiratory function and compliance with clinical protocols. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and therapies provided.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and management strategies.
• Ensure all equipment is sterilized, maintained, and functioning properly.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS and NRP certifications required; additional certifications preferred.
• Demonstrate at least 1-2 years of recent critical care or NICU respiratory experience.
• Possess strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, including NICU and pediatric units.
