Job Summary:

Provide urgent care and critical support to emergency department patients as a Registered Nurse. Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival to determine acuity level and prioritize care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Massachusetts RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years current Emergency Department experience.
• Complete Basic Dysrhythmia course prior to start.
• Maintain active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech Expanse or similar EHR systems.
• Own personal transportation to ensure reliable attendance.
