Job Summary:

Assist residents with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily activities while providing basic nursing and restorative care under supervision. Ensure a safe, respectful environment that promotes residents’ well-being and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Support residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and skin care treatments according to care plans.
• Assist residents with ambulation, positioning, turning, and transfers to promote safety and mobility.
• Provide nourishment, hydration, and assistance with toileting, bowel and bladder training, and monitoring input/output.
• React to emergency situations by following facility protocols, ensuring resident safety at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality, adhere to infection control procedures, and respect residents’ spiritual beliefs.
• Document care provided, observe and report significant changes, and communicate effectively with licensed staff.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of current CNA experience in a healthcare setting.
• Willing to work in a facility with the ability to float to different units as needed.
• Previous rural or small facility experience preferred.
• Certified in CPR/BLS (AHA) and able to provide certification documentation.
• Hold a valid state CNA license.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and teamwork.
