Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for operating room assignments. The role involves providing perioperative patient care and supporting surgical procedures across various specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.
• Assist in surgical procedures by scrubbing and circulating as required.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure adherence to safety protocols during surgeries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative changes promptly.
• Document patient care and surgical details using Epic electronic health records.
• Comply with all certification and hospital policy requirements, including updates on certifications and vaccinations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of operating room experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as applicable.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday with call duties two days weekly and one weekend per month.
• Experience with Otologic, Orthopedic, General, Plastics, GI, Urology, Pediatric Dental, or Surgical Oncology procedures.
• Knowledge of Omnicel systems and Epic charting preferred.
• Willingness to complete virtual and on-unit orientation.
