Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiac care as a registered nurse in the Cath Lab/EP department, supporting patients undergoing cardiac procedures and interventions. Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with clinical standards throughout all phases of cardiac diagnostics and treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ conditions and obtain vital signs before and after procedures.
- Support cardiologists and healthcare team members during catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and other cardiac interventions.
- Monitor patients’ hemodynamics and arrythmias using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Document all patient interactions, procedures, and clinical findings accurately.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and recovery processes.
- Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of clinical experience in cardiac or electrophysiology settings.
- Have current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Demonstrate proficiency with cardiac monitoring, catheterization equipment, and electrophysiology procedures.
- Possess strong assessment skills and the ability to respond swiftly in high-pressure situations.
- Exhibit excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
