Job Summary:
Provide advanced nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting, assisting with urgent and complex cases while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency services.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously, recognizing and responding to deteriorating status.
• Document patient care, procedures, and observations accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with hospital standards, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Facilitate patient education and provide support to families during emergency situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 12 months of full-time, permanent experience in the Emergency Room.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with TNCC preferred.
• Ability to perform ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in high-pressure environments.
• References from recent managers, ANMs, supervisors, or directors confirming recent ER experience.
