Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to adult patients in a Medical/Surgical and Telemetry setting. Ensure patient safety and deliver evidence-based care while adhering to hospital policies and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols.
• Recognize and respond promptly to cardiac rhythms and changes in patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families about health management and post-discharge care.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at submission.
• Possess minimum 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Be certified in American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, all active and in hand.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
• Be willing to work rotating day/night shifts, including every other holiday.
• Have references from recent supervisors within the past 12 months.
