Job Summary:
Seeking a seasoned Med/Surg Tele RN to deliver patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. This role involves providing high-quality nursing services and ensuring patient safety during a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, recognition of abnormal rhythms, and respond swiftly to emergent situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, certifications, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• Possess a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand at the time of application.
• Demonstrate active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Have recent experience working with ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments.
• Be willing to work every other holiday and rotates shifts as needed.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate tests during orientation with acceptable scores.
