Job Summary:
Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborates with the healthcare team to stabilize patients and address urgent medical needs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and develop individualized care plans based on symptoms and assessments.
• Implement interventions and monitor patient responses to treatment in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care and ensure timely treatment.
• Educate patients and families regarding their conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care needs.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to ancillary personnel while ensuring high standards of care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and documentation standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Critical care or emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment.
