Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in PCU/IMCU/Stepdown units, providing expert care to critically ill and recovering patients. Responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ medical conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and unit protocols.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, IV pumps, and other medical equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Respond promptly to patient needs and notify the healthcare team of any changes.

Qualifications:

• Current active RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU, PCU, IMCU, or Stepdown experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
