Job Summary:
The MedSurg RN will provide comprehensive inpatient nursing care to adult patients in a busy outpatient radiation department. This role involves patient education, IV starts, triaging calls, and wound care management.

Responsibilities:

• Administer IV therapies and handle related procedures efficiently.
• Educate patients on their treatments, medications, and post-care instructions.
• Triage patient calls, prioritizing urgent medical issues.
• Perform wound care procedures adhering to clinical standards.
• Document patient interactions and care activities accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of MedSurg RN experience.
• Hold an active California RN license, with no pending or temporary licenses.
• BLS certification is required; Oncology certification highly preferred.
• Possess EPIC electronic medical record skills.
• Be willing to work a day shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
• Vaccinate against flu; no exemptions permitted.
