Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring safe and efficient childbirth experiences. Collaborate with healthcare teams to support maternal and neonatal health during all stages of labor and postpartum care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to assess patient status.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth processes and postpartum care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and provide emergency support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of obstetric and neonatal nursing practices.
• Exhibit excellent assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Maintain BLS and NRP certification; ACLS preferred.
• Able to adapt to varying shifts, including days.
