Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to deliver and manage care for patients during labor and delivery. Ensure the safety and comfort of mothers and newborns throughout the birthing process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor fetal and maternal health status during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed to facilitate safe delivery.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on labor process, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in patient records.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or deviations from normal labor progression.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse license with current state accreditation.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience working in labor and delivery, ideally in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to various clinical situations and patient needs.
