Job Summary:

Experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on Medical Surgical care is needed to provide high-quality patient monitoring and interventions during night shifts. The role involves caring for diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring compliance with licensing and travel requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and oximetry equipment to detect changes in condition.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, onboarding, and site-specific travel policies.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active state or compact nursing license prior to deployment.
• Demonstrate 2 years of clinical experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Possess NIHSS and BLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong assessment skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Have minimum 1-2 years of travel nursing experience preferred.
• Be able to pass background checks and compliance screenings.
