Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through comprehensive assessment and intervention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor patient vitals and neurological status continuously, recognizing signs of deterioration.
• Document patient care activities and updates thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and postoperative care.
• Assist during emergency interventions and respond promptly to patient crises.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid and current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent ICU or neuro ICU experience.
• Obtain BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Able to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Capable of handling fast-paced, high-pressure situations with professionalism.
