Job Summary:
Provides specialized mammography imaging services under the supervision of a radiologist, ensuring high-quality procedures for diagnostic purposes. This role involves daily operation of mammography equipment and delivering patient care in accordance with safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography procedures accurately while adhering to departmental protocols.
• Maintain and calibrate mammography equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assist radiologists during imaging procedures and provide patient positioning guidance.
• Document procedures thoroughly and maintain detailed patient records.
• Comply with all safety and radioprotection standards for patient and staff safety.
• Stay current with advancements in mammography technology and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of an Associate’s Degree (A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from a JRCERT-accredited program.
• Possess current ARRT and CRT certifications for general radiography.
• Have a valid California mammography certification, with active recent experience in the field.
• Demonstrate at least three years of experience as a mammography technologist preferred.
• Maintain a current CPR certification.
