Job Summary:
The Mother Baby / Postpartum RN provides comprehensive care to new mothers and their infants, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during the postpartum period. They collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care and education.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and neonatal health status regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate mothers on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and infant care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and patient concerns with urgency and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent experience in Mother Baby or Postpartum nursing.
• Hold an active AHA BLS certification.
• Maintain NRP certification.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and holidays.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills.
