Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting, ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality care. Supervises and coordinates the activities of nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status continuously.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols and physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Delegate tasks and supervise nursing staff to maintain efficient and effective care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Have at least two years of recent experience in an ICU or acute care setting.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health record systems.
