Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for travel assignments in Labor and Delivery units. Candidates will provide specialized care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring patient safety and comfort under industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ labor progress and monitor fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
• Administer medications and interventions such as induction, steroid injections, and other procedures related to labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Assist with delivery procedures, including vaginal births and cesarean sections, maintaining sterile technique.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Float to other units or serve as a Patient Care Tech (PCT) as needed during low census periods.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• Possess Labor triage experience and OR circulator skills, including C-sections and other obstetric procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and invasive placements like IUPC/FSE.
