Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns through comprehensive clinical management and support.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and monitor fetal and maternal vital signs regularly.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed to support labor and delivery processes.
• Educate expectant mothers on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including complications during labor or delivery.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with appropriate state licensure.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Birthing Education preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in labor and delivery or maternal-newborn nursing.
• Ability to perform clinical assessments and emergency interventions effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
