Job Details

Job Summary:
Provides basic nursing and restorative care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Ensures resident safety, comfort, and well-being while maintaining facility protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support residents in ambulation, movement, and transfer activities, including range of motion and positioning.
• Aid residents with nutrition, including feeding, hydration, and monitoring intake and output.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring resident safety and reacting to incidents such as falls or wandering.
• Follow Resident Care Plans and maintain resident confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Utilize infection control techniques and respect residents’ spiritual and cultural preferences.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid CNA license and current certification.
• Have at least 1 year of relevant experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
• Willing to work in a rural or small facility environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to float to different units or departments as required.
• Previous travel experience highly preferred.
