Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled orthopedic travel registered nurse for a 13-week assignment at a Magnet-recognized hospital in Denver. This role requires providing specialized patient care on a dedicated orthopedic/neuro unit during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and neuro postoperative patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR.
• Educate patients and families on discharge procedures and post-operative care.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and best practices for patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of current orthopedic/medical-surgical experience in a hospital setting.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred.
• Have experience with total joint surgeries and spine procedures.
• Be energetic, empathetic, and possess a good sense of humor to fit within the team environment.
