Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Nurse will provide specialized nursing care within a busy IR department, supporting various procedure areas including body IR, neuro IR, CT, US, and pre/post-operative care. The role requires flexibility to float across multiple treatment rooms and support on-call coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver pre- and post-procedure patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures, adhering to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to medical emergencies.
• Document patient information, procedures, and clinical outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain readiness to float among procedure areas and support on-call responsibilities on weekends and weeknights.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Proven experience in interventional radiology, cardiology, or surgical nursing.
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique and sterile procedures.
• Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical environments and priorities.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required.
