Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit, ensuring compliance with established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to promote patient safety, recovery, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status by collecting relevant data and analyzing assessment findings.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve prescribed patient outcomes.
• Coordinate and deliver nursing interventions while promoting safety and healing in a compassionate environment.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately, supervise nursing staff, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate at least two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Possess ACLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Have EPIC electronic health record system experience.
