Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring adherence to established standards and promoting a safe, healing environment. Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing staff while collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff activities, delegating duties appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to develop and modify care plans.
• Document patient responses, care provided, and progress toward outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• ACLS certification preferred for specialty practice.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical judgment skills.
