Job Summary:
Seeking a Traveling Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the operating room team, supporting neuro transplants and other advanced procedures. This role involves providing perioperative support during day shifts in a busy surgical unit.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and ready for procedures.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures, adhering to unit policies and protocols.
• Document surgical activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Support the clinical team with post-operative cleanup and restocking of supplies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current CST certification with a minimum of 6 months recent hospital hospital experience.
• Possess active BLS, DORA, and NBSTA certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with Meditech electronic medical records.
• Have prior experience with neuro transplant procedures preferred.
• Be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced perioperative environment.
• Travel experience at large facilities or robotics procedures are a plus.
