Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized therapeutic services in a skilled nursing facility setting. The clinician will assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans to improve patient communication and swallowing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities through comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and swallowing safety.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards regarding therapy practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license and certification.
• Possess recent experience working with patients in a SNF or similar environment.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Comply with all state and federal regulatory requirements for speech therapy.
