Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care across various pediatric units. This role requires flotation to different pediatric departments, ensuring optimal support and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor pediatric patients in PICU, NICU, peds medsurg, peds PACU, peds ED, and postpartum/mother baby units.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure safety and comfort.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and clinical notes accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including float policies and PPE guidelines, while maintaining compliance with relevant certifications.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations in various pediatric units, utilizing relevant skills and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years PICU experience with proven Pediatric ICU competencies.
• PICU and NICU experience is required, with familiarity in pediatric emergency, recovery, and medical-surgical units.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state or pending license with verification.
• Certifications in BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS, and Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding are required or in process.
• Epic experience is mandatory; additional certification copies and references must be provided.
