Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Interventional and Special Procedures to join our team during weekend shifts. This position offers the opportunity to work in a Level 1 trauma and Stroke Center, supporting various interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nurse duties in interventional radiology and special procedures areas with a focus on patient care.
• Prepare patients for IR procedures, ensuring optimal safety and comfort.
• Assist physicians during procedures by monitoring vital signs and managing equipment.
• Document patient information, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and their families about pre- and post-procedure care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure.
• Proven experience in interventional radiology or special procedures preferred.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work weekend shifts and on-call hours as scheduled.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
