Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit with telemetry capabilities. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of cases, focusing on vascular and general medical-surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize early signs of patient deterioration.
• Document patient care activities precisely in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid state nursing license required at the time of submittal.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
• Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
