Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, ensuring safety and compliance with clinical standards. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive maternal and neonatal care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans tailored to obstetric patients.
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately in healthcare records.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to team members based on their credentials and competencies.
• Promote a collaborative environment by coordinating with physicians, nurses, and support staff.
• Maintain professional development to ensure clinical effectiveness and adherence to policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold unit standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Washington state RN license or pending application with submission proof.
• Possess at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in obstetrics or labor and delivery.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with Epic EMR system (preferred but not mandatory).
• Exhibit strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to float to other units as needed within the health system.
