Job Summary:

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab/EP setting to assist physicians with cardiovascular and electrophysiology interventions. Ensures patient safety and quality imaging during complex cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor cath lab and electrophysiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring correct positioning and safety protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and address concerns to promote comfort and understanding.
• Assist physicians during interventions, including setup and troubleshooting equipment.
• Document procedure details, patient information, and imaging results accurately in PACS and medical records.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and verify that all procedures comply with organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) in Radiography.
• Current RT license in the state of practice.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Possess a fluoroscopy license applicable in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in cath lab or electrophysiology procedures.
