Job Summary:
Provide specialized orthopedic nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and recovery. Administer medications, perform assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic patients during night shifts
• Administer medications, including those via Omnicell system, following safety protocols
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor postoperative recovery and pain management
• Float to various units as needed based on skill set and census requirements
• Complete all required pre-assignment testing and modules within designated timeframe
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems such as Epic and ensure compliance with all certifications

Qualifications:

• Hold an active TN RN license or multistate license valid in Tennessee
• Possess at least 1 year of recent orthopedic unit experience
• Demonstrate minimum of 1 year experience with Epic EMR system
• Have current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Be capable of working night shifts, 3x12 hours, with floating as required
• Send Social Security Number with submittal for credentialing process
