Job Summary: Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit, ensuring treatment plans are properly implemented and patient safety is maintained. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions by collecting and analyzing relevant health data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge procedures.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, fostering effective team collaboration.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary to promote recovery.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent acute care nursing experience.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
