Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant will support patient rehabilitation programs by assisting licensed therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions. They will ensure proper documentation, maintain equipment, and adhere to standards of practice to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists in implementing patient treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Complete required documentation and record-keeping in compliance with organizational policies and external regulations.
• Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure readiness and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate any concerns or changes to supervising clinicians.
• Adhere to all credentialing requirements and maintain an active professional license.
• Support compliance with all safety, OSHA, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current active License as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in setting up and using therapy equipment during patient care.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient documentation.
• Ability to work day shifts with flexibility for a 13 to 26-week commitment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient therapy setting preferred.
