Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Medical Surgical unit, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols. Supervises and coordinates activities of nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and collect pertinent health data to inform care planning.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aimed at achieving patient health goals.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing staff and support team members to ensure efficient care delivery.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide safe, compassionate, and effective care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Valid BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Preferably holds a BSN degree.
• Demonstrates strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
