Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory therapy to adult, neonatal, and pediatric patients within the hospital’s critical care units. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver high-quality, safe respiratory care during diverse clinical situations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and troubleshoot ventilator and oxygen therapy equipment.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Document all procedures, assessments, and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and state licensing requirements.
• Attend shift handoffs and participate in team meetings for patient care coordination.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid North Carolina Respiratory License.
• Be a registered respiratory therapist (RRT).
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
