Job Summary:
Seeking experienced LVN/LPN for a Float Pool position in a long-term acute care (LTAC) setting. Candidates must be adaptable to various units and patient populations, supporting medical and behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across multiple units, including LTAC, skilled nursing, and behavioral health.
• Float between units as assigned, supporting patient needs and staffing requirements.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient concerns with attention to acuity and safety.
• Support behavior management techniques and care for patients with degenerative or psychiatric disorders.
• Complete documentation accurately using Cerner and PointClickCare systems.
• Uphold facility policies, including strict attendance and holiday coverage requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland LVN/LPN license required; valid license upon submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of LVN/LPN experience; LTAC experience preferred.
• Comfortable supporting both medical and behavioral health patient populations.
• BLS certification required; ventilator and alarm management competency preferred.
• Experience in locked-unit care, LTAC, Med-Surg/Telemetry, or skilled nursing environments.
• Ability to float within scope and adapt quickly to diverse clinical settings.
